Regional development in focus during the European Week of Regions and Cities

From October 9th to 12th, Brussels hosted the European Week of Regions and Cities, featuring various sessions emphasising the significance of regional initiatives in areas such as political development and implementation of climate measures.

Trøndelag’s European office played a role by organising a side event in collaboration with the European Regional Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN). The focus was on regional climate adaptation, with presentations highlighting initiatives in Norway, France, and Finland. Berit Time from SINTEF discussed the advancements made in climate adaptation within Trondheim through the “Klima 2050” (“Climate 2050”) project.
