ERA FABRIC presentation and discussion during the XXXI meeting of the Mazovian Innovation Council
The meeting of the Mazovian Innovation Council was held on May 8, 2023. The meeting was chaired by Aleksandra Szwed – Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Development and European Funds of the Marshal’s Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship in Warsaw.
At the meeting, the scope of support aimed at the development of innovation and entrepreneurship under the European Funds for Eastern Poland program for 2021-2027 was discussed. At this stage, it is particularly important to bring closer the objectives and conditions for obtaining support, especially from programs that Mazovian entrepreneurs have not been able to use so far.
On a broader topic, there was an important presentation by Krzysztof Mieszkowski from the Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT, Warsaw University of Technology. He talked about the project titled ERA FABRIC – Framing And Bridging Regional research and Innovation ecosystems Capacities for a renewed ERA” implemented with funds from the Horizon Europe Program. The project will concert on bridging regional research and innovation ecosystems for the development of the European Research Area by, among other things, developing tools to accelerate the twin transformation, better integrate human aspects into regional and local policies, strengthen the local impact of EU-funded R&D and innovation.
