We are thrilled to announce the upcoming online workshop “Enhancing the Local Impacts and Synergies of EU Framework Programme Project Results,” organized as part of the ERA_FABRIC initiative. Scheduled for October 25, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET, the event aims to gather key stakeholders to explore and develop strategies that enhance the local impact of EU-funded projects in various regions across Europe.
The workshop will focus on three key thematic areas:
- Sustainable Manufacturing
- Bio-based Circular Economy
- Clean Renewable Energy

- Panel 3: Clean Renewable Energy (moderator: Ivana Vuka, UNIST)
During the open discussion, participants will focus on the challenges and solutions around connecting local/regional needs with EU project outcomes, integrating results into local policies, and enhancing the involvement of SMEs. Key questions will revolve around maximizing the impact of EU projects in local innovation ecosystems.
The event will also feature a keynote speech by Sonja Polan from the Austrian National Contact Point for Intellectual Property and Open Knowledge Transfer, followed by a presentation of the outcomes from the parallel sessions.
We invite stakeholders from academia, government, industry, and civil society to join us in shaping policies for the future of the European Research Area.
