ERA FABRIC presented in Brussels at an ERRIN event

On 4 October 2023, the ERRIN event: Organising a regional innovation ecosystem took place in Brussels, where the Era Fabric project was presented.

During the event, Vendula Nováčková, representing the South Moravian Region to the EU, gave a presentation entitled “INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM IN SOUTH MORAVIAN REGION”. The presentation included the Era Fabric project, which explores the South Moravian region.

The ecosystems of North-East Romania, Wielkopolska Region, Lapland, Finland, Central Denmark and Central Sweden were also discussed.

As the organisers state in their introductory word:

This ERRIN event organised in line with the Management Board priority on widening and deepening engagement in R&I, aims to embrace this second approach, offering space for all ERRIN members for mutual learning and exchanging regional practices without focusing on any specific European initiatives or funding opportunities. Following a short welcome and introduction from the ERRIN Vice-Chair and secretariat, a few members will be invited to present their regional innovation ecosystem development journeys, including the encountered challenges, activities within regions and impact of interregional connections.
